pixiemb Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I was following the install instructions and was changing permissions for config files and p/w protecting admin folder but now it is all screwed and I don't know how to fix .. please can someone help me when go to Administration: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /catalog/admin/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_bwlimited/1.4 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.8.8 Server at www.nimbinonlinemarket.com.au Port 80 Catalog: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /catalog/index.php on this server. I even tried to delete the Catalog folder off the server!

I will have to do some more reading to find out about htaccess files... any assistance is most appreciated .. trying not to maintain positive thoughts that I can get this working ... so close and yet so far.
