Category box

Hi,

 

I am using the "Show Sub-categories version 1.0" contribution, and would like to change the main category from a link to static text (I am wanting to get rid of the extra "category" screen, and have the user just select the subcategory from the category box

 

Can anyone help with the code for the category box to get rid of that hyperlink?

Without looking at the script in depth at the moment (I am at work and have a few flights to book for people - joy), I would suggest using Javascript if you are unsure about how to do this in PHP.

 

The javascript navigation tree would go inside the info box where categories are and you would be able to set any level of that tree with navigation. Only problem is that you will need to manually code in the addresses of the category pages that you want to link to in the sub-category.

 

Go to www.totalscripts.com and try a search for a foldertree navigation script.

 

I will have a look at the script shortly.
