Store's Mailing Functions

SITUATION: while testing store functions from customers perspective

1. Created account / received "Account created successfully" -- but confirmation email was not delivered to customer

2. Sent Message from "Contact Us" -- but email was not delivered to store's designated box

3. Sent Email to customer from Admin -- customer did not receive

 

Any help would be appreciated. "Contact Us" was working before

 

HISTORY SINCE INSTALLING: (paid someone and can't contact them now)

I've been uploading products -- got into the habit of backing up server files, had to delete and reload a few times because site would go blank -- it seemed to be a quick fix . Don't know if that would have anything to do with problem with the Email flow.

Found problem (ixwebhosting did actually)

 

-- missing the "ini" file (did not save when I backed up server files)
