upgrading from rc1 to rc2

Hi there,

 

Some two weeks ago, I started researching about the benefits of osCommerce and on how it can help me to take me business online.

 

After settling on a template and started configuring the site, I realised that I'm using an old version of oscommerce, that is i was using the 2.2 rc1 version. Thus i went over to the upgrade section: http://www.oscommerce.com/ext/upgrade-22rc2.html and did the changes to my files. Most files just needed to be replaced with the new RC2 version.

 

However, after committing the changes, whenever i log in to the local/catalog/admin, it still lists that I have the RC1 installed and not RC2! Even when i go to the server info in the tools section, it still shows: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC1! and i still seem to have the old admin menu.

 

any help why this is so and how to upgrade successfully please?

where does it "list" it?

 

if you look at server info?

 

in the copyright?

 

in the header?
