happyone Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 The product has two attributes, size (Large, XLarge) and color (Black, White). These combinations are in stock: Large Black XLarge White These combinations are out of stock: Large White XLarge Black The drop downs default to Large and Black, which is an out of stock combination. The javascript displays "The combination it out of stock" type message. The users find this annoying. They want only to see combinations that are in stock. Short of re-writing every single possible attribute combination into one gigantic set of attribute choices, is there are way to display only Sizes in stock first. Then based on that selection, show only colors in stock for that size?

Guest Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Also if you get use to using QTpro you can copy the code from your product info page and associate it to other areas of your web site that require pulling product items and attributes. Definitely worth the time in learning the QTpro code structure.
