Guest
I apologize, but I'm a newb at this and I'm a bit confused about how to recieve payments after a customer has ordered an item. Can someone please explain this to me?
rseigel
It depends on which payment gateway/method you want to use. More information on your part would be helpful.
Guest
Sorry, in the admin panel I'm shown a list of payment methods, but I'm only able to select 2, c.o.d. and Credit card. I tested the store by purchasing something with my credit card, but when I go to check the order status I don't see where there's a place to direct the payment. In other words if I chose to use the credit card method , how do I get that purchase to go directly to my bank account?
rseigel
If you want to do it that way you need your own merchant account. Most people starting out use Paypal or 2checkout. You might better look at those options first.
Guest
Yes, I wanted to use Paypal, But I can't select that option for some reason.
rseigel
How are you trying to "select" it? Do you already have a Paypal account? Have you enabled and set it up in the admin (green light on)?
