Help with default path for linked store!

Ok guys,

 

I've been searching and reading for days and haven't found the answer to a couple of questions. So now...as bad as I hate to admit it...I need help.

 

First, the default path onto my server to link my store looks like this...http://mydomain.com/os_commerce/index.php. I'm linking it to my domain page...http://www.mydomain.com of course. Not thinking ahead, I let it install in a folder that's called os_commerce inside the www.mydomain.com directory and now want to change it.

 

When I change the os_commerce folder that contains my store to something like my_store so that it links up as...http://mydomain/my_store/index.php, the links inside my store no longer know where to go. Grrrr! Surprising huh?

 

Question is, is there somewhere in admin or PHP that I can change it globally so that it recognizes my_store as the folder and not the default os_commerce folder name? I really don't want to have to go through and change um all manually. Any suggestions?

 

The other thing has probably been answered too, but I haven't found one I recognized as an answer. ;~)

 

How do and can I turn off requiring account sign up to purchase? Is there some contribution that will allow buyers to just enter their info at checkout without requiring them to sign up. Or, do I just need to install a buy it now code?

You need to edit your includes/configure.php. There are 2 of them. One in your catalog and one in your admin.

 

As to your second question, look in the contributions for purchase without account.

Found it. Should be a snap now...if I don't miss something. LOL

 

As far as the search in contributions...keep coming up with no results. Guess no ones written one yet. Oh well, maybe I will. ;~)
