converting existing database to oscommerce

My apologies if this is an obvious question, but I have searched the forums and haven't found an answer yet.

 

I have an existing website with a large database and I want to convert it to oscommerce. To do so I am going to have to convert the existing database information into the oscommerce database format. I am using phpmyadmin for database administration.

 

Are there any existing tools for doing this? If not, how have other people approached this problem? Can someone point me in the right direction?

 

I'm a web developer with a limited knowledge of databases.
