Problem handling passwords

On trying to install, I had the problem with the database that so many others have had on this forum, "Access denied for user".

 

I did my nut trying to figure out what was wrong, so I eventually hacked your code to debug it.

 

It turns out that my database password contains the + sign, and your installation converts it to a space.

 

I consider this a mistake in your code; however, in the meantime, I've fixed it simply by changing my database's password.

 

I hope that this helps other users.
