Does anyone know how to turn the category box into fancy buttons

http://www.pretavoir.co.uk/index.php is the site in question - And was wondering how I can split the category text links into fancy buttons rather than them just appearing as a list with a grey background...

 

Really I want to achieve the same look as lower left navagation on this site;
