The RC versions work with PHP4. htaccess is not used on windows servers (although I don't know why you would want a windows server). htaccess is not bad once you get used to it.

But with htaccess YOu can not have seo urls which is a must if You want some seo strength. Also as security measure protect admin folder thru htaccess is recommended. ahaneesh Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 the problem is the server i am hosting does not support the file .htaccess it wont allow any files starting with . i deployed the files and looks working, just wanted to know since i couldn't upload the htaccess files will it break the functionality somewhere.
