JarrardB Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Hi guys, Complete newbie.... 1 post. I couldn't even tell you what version of osCommerce I am running. Someone built it for me. I can program HTML and a bit of Java so not completely out of the loop (just very lost in all these modules and add-ins etc.) I have created a manual order for a customer but how does the customer pay for the order? There is no link to Paypal when he views the order in my account > recent orders. When I created the order I was able to select Paypal as the payment method but from there nothing seems to allow a 'request payment' option or similar. Am I using the 'create order' function incorrectly?

Am I using the 'create order' function incorrectly? in the admin panel go to TOOLS / SERVER INFO and note what version of osCommerce you are using under the osCommerce logo. In MODULES, which paypal module was installed and set up? You can tell which one because it shows.

There's no osCommerce logo on that page but it says 273 Loaded Professional v6.3.1 with patch:1 at revision:1544 ??? Is that it? The only two Payment modules installed are 'PayPal' and 'Bank Transfer'. Can't see any version info... Sorry, I feel useless here... is that the info you were after?
