Hi,

Is it possible to run a scan on an sql backup or something similar?

Yes, the addon SITE MONITOR. You can find out about Site Monitor and all the other security measures to integrate into your cart at this url:

The above thread should be bookmarked in your browsers, pinned at the top of the Installation forum and implemented immediately if you have not secured your site. If you don't you will find out why you should have when a hacker gets into your cart which happened to me.

Hi, I have secured the site and replaced all files, but it was done after being hacked unfortunately. I've taken all the recommended steps but need to check if anything was input into the database, as the database backup I have is a week old.

I have installed the database auto backup feature now also. Like most, I wish I had done it sooner!

Thanks,

Chris

u can browse your dbase contents with phpmyadmin, its unlikely u will find anything though, hackers delete stuff, copy stuff, but rarely add anything to a dbase.
