I can browse https:// pages but the links between the pages are defaulting back to http:// how do I change without reinstalling? Please I am having no end of trouble with by wight calculation in stock shiping module, can anyone explain why its not doing what I expect with some example's.

The catalog only uses the https:// connection for a few relevant pages.. checkout sequence etc.. so.. in theory if you start click back out of the checkout sequence, or start to add another product to your list etc. in mid flow. Your connection will switch from https:// to http:// as required by the files. hope that helps :wink:
abselect Posted February 17, 2003 Author Posted February 17, 2003 So just because an s can be put in front of an http and this will envoke SSL. osCommerce only dose this as and when it is required and not the entire shop. Ok but my site will not switch to https in the checkout payment phase /catalog/checkout_payment.php but if I manualy put s in the url it switches
Guest Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 Have you enabled the HTTPS and changed the address for HTTPS in the catalog/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php? You can do that without reinstalling.
