Automatic installer question

hello

many contributions have automatic installer option. i wonder if is possible to use the auto installer for modified shop?

thanks

I wouldn't. Most times it says for clean install only. The problem I have with these installers is the manual install instructions usually say "Use a file compare program". If your shop is already modified then the comparison gets too confusing!

I don't know how your file comparer works but if you always make sure that all your added scripts are marked beginning and end:

//start popup shipping mod

//end popup shipping mod

it becomes less confusing especially if you can do a line by line comparison

However I still don't think it beats a proper:

find XXXXXXXXXX

replace with YYYYYYYYYY

find XXXXXXXXXX

add after YYYYYYYYYY

find XXXXXXXXXX

add before YYYYYYYYYY

instructional guide (but this is osC ;) )

My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0

I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 )

I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
