How do I make oscommerce a subpage of an exisiting site?

Hi, Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I am a total newbie and have been working through all the manuals and forums but I am stumped.

 

I have an existing home page that I would love to keep and I want oscommerce to be a sub page so that customers would click on a "SHOP" button from this page and be taken to the catalog.

 

Is this possible?

I have read a lot of forums that say I have to kiss my existing page good bye. I hope that is not the case.

You mean like a doorstep page?

if its what i think you mean then a simple HTML a ref link to the catalog.

like

<a href="catalog/index.php">View our store</a>

or

<a href="catalog">View our store</a>

I think that is what I am after.

 

So if create the HTML link it sounds like it will do what I want it to.
