You will need to upload the contents of the catalog folder to your webspace so instead of being inside the catalog folder its in the root instead.

I am still working on my site. I am trying to address security. So far in the forums I have encountered Security Pro which I have had no success in obtaining. My site is still in default setup mostly. Cron job was also mentioned somewhere. What precautions should I take to ensure my site is secure against sql injection or inadequate code, and are any alterations need in the default configuration setup? If so what are they. These issues have pondered me for days now as I refuse to proceed until I feel my site is adequately secure. If you have any suggestions contact me. Thanks.

Congratulation! If your production was done on your local host transfer you file via ftp to your production server. Be sure to configure you set up properly so that everything works as it should. Not sure if this is what you're ask but hopefully it helps.
