Mark1 Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 I have a snapshot of OSCommerce from around Dec. 13, 2002. I have run into trouble with the authorize.net Credit card payment module. Authorize.net now requires a Transaction key to complete credit card processing. There is no place in the Admin to place this key. I have tried the AIM module from Bao Nguyen. It will not work. I need to know how to update my cart without completely wiping it out, and starting over. PLEASE!! do not respond to this with wild haired ideas, or "fixes" that might work. I need a real solution, and it seems once a thread is responded to, noone looks at it anymore.
agtlewis Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 Quick way to fix this would be just to download the current snapshot and overwrite the authorize.net payment module. Backup first!! It might require that something be added to the database as well. ie a new table for the key or something.
Mark1 Posted February 15, 2003 Author Posted February 15, 2003 Ben, I asked for a reply from someone that had a complete solution. Is it some big game around here that people just compete to see who can reply to a question first wether or not they have a COMPLETE answer to the problem? Before Iget really irritated, I will give you the opportunity to elaborate on your answer. If you do not know, or have a COMPLETE answer, please do not respond. Thanks!! Mark

XtremeCarAudio Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 phh BTW, you are aware this is a FREE, no COST forum, people come here to help others, most people are not experts, nor do they claim to be, that guy gave you a viable solution to your problem, if you dont understand, or can not comprehend, 1> Buy a Commercail Cart, with Commercail PAID support 2> Ask Nicely for Further Instructions Michael
Mark1 Posted February 15, 2003 Author Posted February 15, 2003 How about I wait for someone who actually knows how to help me.
XtremeCarAudio Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 How about I wait for someone who actually knows how to help me. your missing the point, people will not help you if your disrespectful to people attempting to help you this site is FREE, OSC is FREE, the Support is FREE, your wanting commerical level support with out paying a commercial price, the world does not work that way My advice to everyone is to NOT help you until you understand that people are trying to help you, and you dont need to get a additude if the help given is not what you wanted Michael
Mark1 Posted February 15, 2003 Author Posted February 15, 2003 I have found the solution to my problem. Seeing as certain assholes seem to think any suggestion is better than no suggestion, I think I will just keep the fix to myself, and let the rest of the world keep struggling.
