Gift Certificates: available in any denomination?

I know there is a Gift Voucher contribution out there already but does anyone have an idea of how to do Gift Certificates available in any denomination, similar to how they are done in this OSC shop?

http://www.ducatalog.com/catalog/product_i...ts_id=54&page=1

For my site I need to be able to allow the customer to enter any available denomination, say up to a limit I can set (ex: $5,000) so they could enter any amount they wanted to give as the Goft Certificate and also customize the gift certificate with these comments:

To: (name)

From: (name)

Message: (Happy Birthday!, Merry Christmas from Grandma & Grandpa, etc.)

Then this could emailed of snail mailed to the recipient, once received they would go to my site and redeem certificate for purchase of goods. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Ian's Credit Class & Gift Voucher v4.1 contribution will give you any amount you desire. Hes included three gift certificates images (i.e. $50, $75, $100) which you add to you site like any other item your selling. I just took one of his gift certificates and changed the amount in photoshop to what ever amount I needed. I have gift certificates ranging from $5.00 all the way up to $5,000. You just need to install his contribution into your site. And most importantly follow his directions in adding gift certificates to your site. Example: you need to make sure you place the word GIFT in all caps in the model name when you set up an item on your site as a gift certificate. And the word GIFT in all caps must be the first word in the model name.

Hope this helps

To add to that you could also create a $1 gift voucher and use one of the contributions that lets you specify a quantity to order on product info page.

Then all the customer has to do is stick 236 in the quantity box to get a $236 worth of vouchers.

Once you purchase a Gift Voucher(s) you can send them via email with added comments. (No snail mail unfortunately)

Trust me, I'm an Accountant.
