Chill
 I have been fighting this for 9 hours just today. Must request assistance. I have a perplexing issue that I cannot resolve at this time. I have used "easy populate" to insert the first and largest portion of my products, 13519 items into the data base, 10 sub categories. The numbers show up under categories listings. Upon load of default.php, the numbers show in the correct subcategories. The pictures and names show up, until you click on any of them then the loaded page states no product. If you select a subcategory the page states there is nothing in the subcategory. Upon the admin page the catalog on the left detail side correctly states the number of items in a subcategory, but under the category name no listing. When you open the subcategory, it declares no products. I have uninstalled the entire database and oscommerce and then reinstalled and same problem. Oscommerce version installed from tep_snapshot-20030211.tar.gz EasyPopulate installed from EasyPopulate_v2.41beta7.zip If any can direct me on where to continue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening. [email protected] "Life, Don't talk to me about life!" Marvin
wasson65
Hi TIm here. Sorry about your problems. Things to check: Did you install any contribs that tinkered with the products, descriptions, or categories tables? EP works with the tables directly, and field name changes can cause problems Try a very simple upload of a single product, and see if it works. Send me the first 100 lines or so of your file, and I'll try uploading them into my dev store to see what's up. TIm
Chill
 Well, there is somthing to be said to getting some sleep and starting fresh. While I reinstalled everything, I neglected to change my txt database file which was created under the previous install of Easypopulate. Naturally downloading the database under the new install showed me the error in the file. A little editing and it worked like a charm. 'Course I did have another hour and a half trying to get the pictures to show before I realized the db had JPG for the extension and I had jpg on the pics. Am still hunting down all the little cases of "case" thanks a lot [email protected] "Life, Don't talk to me about life!" Marvin
