martyjoe Posted February 13, 2003 Share Posted February 13, 2003 i upgraded to php 3 since box only came w/ php 1.(?) and os 2.2v needs php 2 and above. using unix/mac. tried to install and got following: "FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!". can't find "register_globals" or php.ini /// newbie need help. marty hafner Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mcgyver7923 Posted February 13, 2003 Share Posted February 13, 2003 I am using win xp and the PHP.ini is in the windows root directory if that helps. Can't you just do a file search for the "php.ini" and then once you get it open use a text editor with the find feature to find register_globals and turn it off.
