vekke Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 The customers address book takes only 5 adrresses. How is it set to much more, like 25. Im trying to set up osc to a smaller grup so it is ok if they have tens of entries. And anoher one : if i didnt want the rating extra but only a possibility to comment any product, which lines to delete in which .php? Thanks for any hints, Vekke
Guest Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 I know you can change it in your database in the configuration table. In my particular DB it is configuration_id 32 called MAX_ADDRESS_BOOK_ENTRIES. Just change the value from 5 to whatever number you would like and that should do the trick. It might be possible to change it somewhere in the code or admin...but I haven't looked. HTH
Guest Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 OK..this will be much easier hehe. In your admin control panel click on configuration and then "Maximum values" the address book entries it is the first thing you can change...just click edit enter your new number and update..piece of cake! :)

ericfrancis Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I too am interested but for the opposite end goal We only ship to credit card billing addresses to protect against fraud. I want to remove to multiple address feature completely (Limit it to 1) If I find it I will post here.

macwizards Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Potentially silly question, but I can't seem to figure it out. If a customer has already used all 5 addresses and wants to ship to a different address, how do they delete or change one of the existing addresses without leaving the checkout process? (I can see how to do it if you login to the account and manage addresses -- but I'd hate to interupt the checkout process for this.)
