Custom field for products - that can be defined by customers

I offer domain names for sale, and would like to use osCommerce for this.

 

It would be good if I could customise a product for each domain name:

 

e.g. product_info.php?products_id=10&domainname=thissite.com

 

Is this feature available? I can't find any information about it.

 

I am happy to code it myself, but there is no point re-inventing the wheel if someone has already done this.

 

Any help appreciated.
