Product Listing Heading

DimeNote

Recommended Posts

Hello,

This may be a simple request but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm trying to modify the CSS for the product listing page so that there is a border only around the outside of the heading table... and not around the cells on the inside of the heading table. Does this make sense?

The CSS I have for the heading is as follows:

.productListing-heading {
background:#e8eefa;
color:#333;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serrif;
font-size:10px;
font-weight:700;
border:1px solid #999;
}

This bit of code will add a border around the heading but it will also add a border around the text on the inside of the heading and on the cells that the text is in. I hope that makes sense to someone...

Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Mike,

I think I know what you are trying to do.

Unfortunately the page heading is in a table cell <td> with two more in the row; the product filter and then the image, look at your index.php file for =

		<td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
	  <tr>
		<td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>
<?php
// optional Product List Filter

You'll have to define a new class just for the page heading of the product listing and try using CSS to colapse the table border and add it to the table row.
