How do I get thumbnails?

Recommended Posts

I'm brand new to using osCommerce, and I'm having trouble with product images.

I understand that there is a way to have a thumbnail (eg, 100x100 px in size) and a seperate enlarged image (eg 500 x 500 px). Right now I'm uploading the enlarged image and osCommerce is shrinking it down to thumbnail size, and as expected it looks terrible.

I'm just wondering where I have to go to upload a thumbnail and an enlarged image for the same product. Is it a downlooad, or am I missing something in the administrator's section? I'm not worried about manually resizing images, I don't have many products online.

Thanks for the help.

you need to install special contribution for it.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

I`ve used osC Thumb http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5491 it does have a few issues, but is better than most for automatic thumbnails
