Guest
If I set the header tags for my index.php page, all is fine - it comes out exactly as listed. When I attempt to add the header tags for the categories 2 things happen: 1) path Standard is added to the top of all of the pages 2) I get the title, description, and keywords for the category as well as the title, description, and keywords that are listed for the index page. In my mind I thought one would override the other. Please let me know if I did something wrong. If you visit the site and view the source on the index page and then click on a category and view the source, you will see what I mean. http://69.164.255.130/catalog/index.php Thank you
multimixer
I would not expect an answer right here. How should somebody know how you create your headertags? What contribution you installed? I guess you have header tags seo, if it's this what you have, then better read through the support forum Quote My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

I am also reading through the several pages of the forum, however I was hopeful that someone might read this and be able to help me. Apparently you will not be that person, but thank you for your input anyway.

If you installed header tags seo, then I gave you the link above. Go and read there first, because most possible the answer is already waiting for you. But if you want post, it's up to you. Posting in the right forum keeps all answers on the same topic together, and that makes it easy for others, having the same issue, to solve a problem even without posting. Just don't expect that everybody will know what exactly you installed, or to expect help in configuring something that nobody knows what it is. I'm sure I am doing something wrong, but it is not intentional.

When you download and install a contribution, always keep a record from where you got it and what version it is exactly. It's not always stated in the files themselves, depends of the quality (well, here you are very lucky). The most of the contributions have a support forum. So, if you have a problem with a contribution, go back to the place you got it and find the support forum. You are like never the first installing a con and the most possible is that people who installed before you had exactly the same problem, they solved it, that means, the solution is already there. Now, go back to this forum, read (and this makes the solution faster for you) and if you really don't find an answer post there. 'll try to help you, if I can, even Apparently you will not be that person:) (You know, that if you want to stay in a discussion you don't hit "new topic" but "reply") Quote My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
