FIMBLE
Would guess that the configure.php needs attention admin / includes / configure.php check the datasbase settings there, if the catalog side works use catalog / includes / configure.php as a guide Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
xorkon
this is the exact error message I am getting: Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'mysql'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/xorkonc/public_html/malak/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! I am wondering why the user is 'mysql'@'localhost' and not the DB_SERVER_USERNAME line in the configure.php and why is it using password:NO? FIMBLE
I reckon when you installed the cart the admin / includes / configure.php was not written to, this means you either have to install again, or add the datail youself. mysql it the user name for default osCommerce install file. Localhost is the DB server and the NO means no password required, it should really say YES. Also i set mine to show a more enigmatic messge rather than give anyone your DB username!
