dawn23 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Hi, I had someone help build my site for me. How do I find what version I am using. The bottom of the control panel says 2003, but not the version. I was trying to share the ssl with my host. If was messing up the cart and customers could not log in. My host said I am running an older version and can't use a shared ssl and suggest I upgrade to the newer version. What are the steps for doing that? Will it integrate into my current system? If it is challenging is there anyone willing to get hired to do so? Thanks for your time. Dawn
multimixer Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Hi Read here about how to find out your shop's version As for how challenging the upgrade process can be, this depends on a number of parameters, ie how heavily modified your store is, if it's based on a template or not etc and also on how familiar you are with all this stuff. There are many topic in this forum here about upgrading, search a little around to get an understanding, and then you can decide what to do. If you decide to hire somebody, then please note that it's not permitted to ask for paid services in this forum, but you can easily google for. If you decide to do it your self, good luck :) My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
