LisaW
I am a demonstrator for a direct marketing product. I am not allowed to sell anywhere but on my demonstrator site provided by the parent company. I am allowed to have a personal blog, and I am allowed to use the entire catalog of product photos. What I want to do is offer my customers a Wishlist solution, and I am wondering if osCommerce might work. What I envision is a "storefront" that lists & shows the products, their product number, and the price - with no checkout, and the ability to create a wishlist. It would be awesome if the customer could manage their list (adding and removing items at will), as well as being able to print out and email the list to others - with my contact info listed, of course. One other offering I think might work through osCommerce, is the ability for the customer to create a list of their inventory of my products using the wishlist. Possible? Thoughts? Guest
Hi Lisa, YES, what you would like to do is possible with OSC. Here is an example of a wish list contribution: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1682 and setting up OSC to not enable checkout is fairly easy as well. Good Luck Chris
Guest
How does one set up OS to not enable checkout? I too would like to show products but do not want to offer purchasing at this time. Thanks!
