Website hacked

Hello all,

I am new to OSCommerce. I have uploaded the OSC 2.2rc2A to my domain and did some work on it. Once in a while, I see some new categories in my categories info box. These new categories were not added by me at all. If I click them, it takes me to a different website. I strongly believe my website is hacked. I have all the correct permissions (folders 755 and files 644).

Did this happen to anyone else? Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks a lot and appreciate your help.

Because you are sharing cache folder with others in your webhost, you are seeing another's categories.

You can either do the following:

1. log in to your osc admin panel >>configuration>>cache --set it to FALSE

OR

2. Create a folder called "store_cache" in your root directory and point the path in your CACHE DIRECTORY.
