mablesyrup
I would like to be able to put certain products of mine into multiple catergories.. is there an easy way or a module i can use to do this- instead of manually doing it for each item? I have a home party/direct sales business and sell handbags and accessories.. an example of what I need is this: I have a clutch that is animal print.. I would like to add it to the "clutches" catergory, as well as add it to the Handbags>animal print category too.. Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks in advance! CroonerJE
Hello Andrea... As I type this, I am setting up my OScommerce driven site which sells sheet music/arrangements for big band music. My titles also fall into the same situation your products do (relating a song title to an artist and/or an arranger... and also have created categories devoted to artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. Dropping your product into multiple categories MANUALLY is actually very easy! Don't forget, to the right of your products is the drop down menu of ALL categories you have created... simply select the "copy to" option and then select "link product" ad be sure you have the desired category or subcategory selected. I have a lot of titles to list and am finding this part of the task VERY streamlined! If you'd like to see... go to www.terrificbigbandcharts.com I hope this helps in SOME way!
