I've looked at a number of my UPS bills, and have set up Canada - all of it - to be taxed at 14% which (most of the time) covers my brokerage fees, disbursement fees, and GST fees, which are computed (collectively) as a percent of the total purchase.

The Canadian Entry Prep fee is my biggest pain. I have items that sell for under $200 but over $100, and a number that sell from $200-$300. The entry prep fees are based on price tiers instead on percentages. So, I have implemented a pull down in my product atrributes which asks for destination country, so that fee can be added in on a per product basis. Wish I knew of a better way.

I find it funny with NAFTA (which means there are no duties) that there are still so many other fees. I shipped a $240 gate the other day, and the total brokerage fees including the entry prep fees were $72.
