fatkat87 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Hi every one I am new here and have been using oscommerce for about 2 months I don't know too much about maybe just the basics, how to change bits and pieces and simple things. I have been looking around just for a bit of a push in the right direction really, I don't want to waste any of your time by asking probably ridiculously easy questions but I don't know where to look and cant quite find what i need with the search function. Basically I would like to install a sitemap and a few add ons that will help with SEO I have seen many that look helpful but I dont know which version of oscommerce I am running and I dont know how to install any of the add ons is there any where with instructions on how to do these things. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance Look at server info on the admin side under the tools section to find what version OSCommerce your running. Instructions for each add-on is bundled individually by each maintainer.

Is it the box that says SERVER_SOFTWARE? It should be right about your PHP logo and php version. There should be an OScommerce logo as well.

I probably sound like a complete idiot but I am fairly new to this and still haven't got to grips with the basics. I appreciate your time.
