Sorry I am new in this field, please help/ You need to go to paypal and set up an account, after that you'll get all keys etc. Just follow the instructions there. Just take care, there are different types of paypal payment ways. Guest Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 getting the api keys. 1. logon to your paypal account 2. click profile 3. click API access 4. choose which api you want to use either permission or credentials(preferred/recommended) 5. if you choose credentials then your request should be API Signature. note: in order to have this, your paypal account should be premier or business In addition to your paypal standard, you dont actually need the paypal api coz what you need to do is enable your PayPal Website Payments Pro (US) Direct Payments at admin->modules->payment->PayPal Website Payments Pro (US) Direct Payments. Then enter the values of your requested "API signature". But if you really dont want to use the PayPal Website Payments Pro (US) Direct Payments then you have to use the paypal API Certificate.
