Portuguese CharsetEncoding

Hi everybody

 

I'm new here and i'm making a store for my girlfriend.

 

Already has installed the store and added portuguese language but i have a problem.

 

For portuguese the charset encoding is ISO-8859-1 and in fact the language files are correct, even if i look to page sourcecode the meta tag is

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">

 

but the browser uses utf8 instead...

 

How can i solve this issue?

The site doesn't look good for me.

 

I would change everything to utf 8, thats a clear thing.

 

How to do?

 

1) Put the charset in portugese.php to be utf-8

2) All files in the folders "includes/languages/portugese" and "admin/incudes/languages/portugese" + the files portugese.php in "includes/" and "admin/includes" need to have an utf-8 encoding. Save them like this and upload again
