hi all,

having a bit of a problem with the paypal module.

when i login to the admin page and got to modules -> payments, whenever i click a paypal payment module i get redirected to the site root instead of the config panel coming up like every other module... is there something simple i am missing here ?

i reinstalled OSCommerce and the same thing occured again.

thanks in advance.

can anyone help with this?

i have installed fresh copies of OSc, and different versions (installed direct from CPanel and tried RC2.2 download) but the paypal modules in the administration panel link to the correct place but once clicked it redirects to the site root. i have tried entering the url in manually to edit/install the paypal modules instead of using the link but nothing seems to work. i have tried several different versions of the paypal modules and still no joy, tried in IE and FF and still nothing...

register_globals is OFF (tried with ON as well), all files are where they should be, no template modifications will have effected the admin panel, all paths are correct and double checked... Is this a server setting issue? or have I just overlooked the most basic thing to get this working???

please help before i go insane :blink:

just paypal standard

When you say: once clicked it redirects to the site root, what exactly does that mean, a page /what page?

Are you getting any error messages on screen, in server logs?

on the actual modules section of the admin panel, where you click the modules and the panel appears on the right with the settings... When i click any other module it works fine, the panel appears and i can see the settings/install etc. But when i click a paypal module it redirects straight to the site root with no error

straight to the site root with no error

?

go to 'site root' > php.ini > find 'log_errors = Off'. Change to:

 log_errors = On

in php.ini find 'error_log =' , just below, change to your path to root directory:

error_log = /home/user/public_html/php_errors.log // use your path to root

Create a text file in site root called php_errors.log and make sure it is read and writable by you. Then try again and post any errors in 'php_errors.log'
