hoeksms
We have developed several oscCommerce shops (2.2rc1) which are hosted on several different webservers. None of these shops have any performance issues, except for one. We have one oscommerce shop which has 100.000+ products in the database. We have already moved it from a shared hosting server to a dedicated server, but a few times a day the load goes up and apache crashes. We have already moved 'products_viewed' and 'products_ordered' from the products/products_description tables to a seperate table, so that the product listing queries are cached by mysql. This has made the product listing a bit faster, but the problem persists. On average we have 50-150 users online. Does anyone have any experience on oscommerce with a large database? Any ideas? Kind regards, S. Hoeksma
