movingfusion Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 Hello, When I click on 'checkout' on my webshop, the following error appears: Warning: main() [function.main]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 48 is not allowed to access ./includes/application_top.php owned by uid 10061 in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/checkout_shipping.php on line 13 Warning: main(includes/application_top.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Success in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/checkout_shipping.php on line 13 Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/checkout_shipping.php on line 13 I don't know why this occurs. I did edit the checkout_shipping.php file because I tried to install the Download Controller contribution. However, I did backup every file and after this 'SAFE MODE restriction' error appeared, I immediately placed the original file back online. However, the error remains! As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
