Reformat output format of Order Total function

Does anyone know how to change the output format of this code

 

if (MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_INSTALLED) {

$order_total_modules->process();

echo $order_total_modules->output();

 

It currently does this on my site

Sub-Total: $93.66 Flat Rate per Item ((5.95 first item, 1.00 each additional item)): $8.95 New Mexico Tax 6.75%: $6.32 Total: $108.93 . All on one line and I want it on four separate lines
