Guest
Hi all I have the following problem: You should set 777 permissions for: 2 files: store/admin/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php store/admin/fckeditor/fckconfig.js The problem is these files do not exist so it is rather difficult to change their permissions :-). Does anyone know what I need to do? thx!

Guest
looks like the auto installer is not suitable for localhost so i downloaded the manual install version and it works. Edited July 15, 2009 by kenz
spooks
still getting the same error on my development station which is my localhost - whats the work around for that? That makes no sense!!, your error was could not set permissions as files do not exist the solution Download the latest version from http://www.fckeditor.net and unzip into the "admin" directory (catalog/admin/fckeditor) so you uploaded that but your error is still!! could not set permissions as files do not exist so what have you not done? Sam i copied the auto installer to my admin directory as its own folder. i downloaded the fckeditor and downloaded that in the admin directory as its own folder. i ran the auto installer and its telling me to set 777 permissionson certain folders. i checked my files and non of them were read only. i refreshed the auto installer page as told and still got the same message. With no luck there i did a manual install of the fckeditor for osc and got it working on my localhost. thats everything i did.
