web-project Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 have you altered the configure.php files? Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

germ Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 In the includes FOLDER (catalog and admin) where the normal configure.php files are there is a FOLDER named local On some installs there may be a configure.php inside the local FOLDER (catalog and admin) If there is, anything in it overrides anything in the normal configure.php files. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Hi germ, Thanks for your advise. I had checked through all the mentioned folders and my installs does not contains the configuration.php in the LOCAL folder.. IF that is the case, what is causing this problem when initially my admin was still working fine without the SSL? CAD
germ Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 If it worked before SSL, it should work after if it has the right info. The things you have to change to implement SSL aren't even close to the DB info in the config file. Have you checked the config file that is actually on the server? Some people make changes locally and FTP to the server just ASSUMING it got there OK and in one piece. Maybe you FTP'd the wrong one, or it got mucked up in the process. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Cntl_Alt_Del Posted June 27, 2009 Author Posted June 27, 2009 Germs, Thanks for your help tendered so far. I had FTP-ed all the configure files and double-check all the necessary requirements needed to amend and found no problems on that. Yet, i am unable to login to my admin. CAD
