Fure
Hi there. I would like to change the look of my categories box. The look I would like to have is like this one: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17...nmenu-arrow.htm. They explain how to do it with a static menu but I have no idea how to implement it in the categories box. A little help would be much appreciated. Guest
Frederic, There are several dynamic menu contributions already available. I am sure you could use one as a 'chassis' in which to build your dynamic menu on as I believe they all pretty much work on the same premise. burt
It is not straightforward, but it is possible with hard work. You need to recode the categories box to use a proper semantic list of ul's and li's (I believe there is a contribution for this). Then you need to add the correct class names to each ul and li s appropriate. Then use the css and js etc as per the example given. I'd be very surprised if anyone here would offer more help to you, as it's a job that is not small - the pro developers would likely charge you appropriately, and the amateur developers/shop-keeps know as much as you do.
