Managing the content

Dear all

 

I am very new in OS Commerce, even I dont know how to update the content in the pages. Before I have experince with Joomla CMS,

 

I have some text in my OsCommerce home page. The welcome message and some more. I want to change it, In OsCommerce administration section I didn't find any place where I can change that text.

 

Can anyone help me in changing that.

 

For reference I can show you the home page in picture.

Please try the following to change the welcome message:

Go to catalog/includes/languages/English/index.php

Find the following line and change it to what you want it to say

 

In general, you might find the How to... section (http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=274968) of this forum extremely helpful.

I'm trying to change about us page so I downloaded about us php script but didn't understand how to change the text?

There is no "about_us.php" in the original package.

 

Anyway, most possible to find the text in catalog/includes/languages/yourlanguage/about_us.php
