stewwy Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 Hi all, I am fairly new to oscommerce however i have managed to get all up and running so far with no real stresses. Until Now,lol. I have created an extra row within the table " products_description " called "product_mini_description" within MySql and have succesfully adopted the admin end of oscommerce to be able to add text to it etc. It was easy enough as well to call this text back to the product info page. The problem is how to call it back within the product listing page on the front end. I have attempted things all day so i hope theres an expert out there that can help. I have looked at the short description contributions that are out there as well but they dont really fit the bill as much as this would. Product listing in columns has added a column (optional) for attributes in the product listing. In there the changes for index.php are mentioned too. I installed the contribution "product_listing_columns_2_2_9", but could not get it to work properly, so I decided te revert the installation by following the "instructions.txt" and reinstall a sql backup. I have checked and rechecked, but NONE of my products in my categories shows up! Now I do not know where the problem is... How do I get rid of this heading as it is wrong, and I also want to take out Show Manufacturer. 2.
