gst and gateway issue

GST is appearing on the order although the wording is missing but the GST is not being charged via the ANZ egate gateway.

 

For example

 

The Order;

Sub-Total: $135.00

World Zone Rates (Shipping to Australia: 1 kg(s)): $11.30

: $1.03

Currency of Transaction is in Australian Dollars (AUD) only - Total: $146.30

 

So the GST component is $1.03 which is on the shipping because the items purchased are GST free.

 

The ANZ egate transaction;

 

Total: $145.27

 

So the difference is the GST of $1.03.

 

I have 2 questions;

 

1) How go I get the wording GST to display before : $1.03?

 

2) Why is the GST not being picked up by ANZ egate? Does it have anything to do with question 1?

Found where to add the wording GST, which was in the description of the tax classes.

 

I will now take my egate problem and post it in the payment modules forum.

Australia

Rest of the World

Your only tax zone cannot be set up properly. It should only have australia in it.

In the Tax Zone I have Australia which has a folder next to it. When I click on the folder it has All Zones.

and under Tax Classes you have Australian GST

and under Tax Rates you have Tax Class Title: Australian GST Zone: Australian Zones Tax Rate (%): 10%

 

Description: Australian GST Priority: 1

 

Otherwise, your shipping module World Zone Rates (Shipping to Australia) needs to be looked at.

I don't know.

World Zone Rates (Shipping to Australia)? This I do not know. Most shipping modules let you define the shipping zone (which is the same as the tax zone to be used).

I have been able to establish the gst on the product is going through ok, it is only the gst on the shipping that isnt.

True. So your prices for shipping for all zones need to include gst (that is what you get charged irrespective of the destination).

I have set up another GST tax class for All Countries. In the Shipping Module "World Zone Rates" I have selected this tax class.

 

The result is no change. Still not picking up the GST on shipping in the total cost via the ANZ eGate.

 

Any other ideas?

Just to clarify? Do you mean shipping plus shipping GST is not showing? eg shipping $10, shipping GST $1, total shipping $11.00

 

Have you tried another shipping module and another payment module?

Still having this problem but I think the problem is in includes/classes/order.php

 

We are using osCommerce 2.2-MS2 version.
