leshkanyc Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Really weird situation, but it happened already three times, so i have decided to write here - maybe someone could give me an idea. My client has a store www.nypassage.com - so they have products in the inventory which are with the status inactive (e.g. 1123 Dax Perfecta No Problem Antibacterial Matifying Cream). It has been inactive since April this year. But they have got an order for it yesterday along with 3 other ones also set to inactive. Before this the same story happened twice with another items. I have started looking in Google for the cached version - i thought, that's how people will be able to put the item into the cart even it's inactive, but no - it does not work this way. So i am lost here looking for help. Any ideas would be appreciated. Alex

Then when they logged in again it was in their cart and they checked out. I have tried it and it is not possible - system says your cart is empty once you go for the checkout.

Any ideas on which files should i mod to make the check before checkout?
Guest Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Any one find out a fix for this? Cart has an inactive product in it - I want to have the product removed from cart when the person logs in.

If you have admin->config->stock->Allow Checkout set FALSE that will prevent Checkout if there is no stock but not if there is stock but the product has been set in-active to prevent that would require some code changes, have you searched in tips & tricks ? Contributions: Auto Backup your Database, Easy way Multi Images with Fancy Pop-ups, Easy way Products in columns with multi buy etc etc Disable any Category or Product, Easy way Secure & Improve your account pages et al.
