sdaccdek Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Hi On both my sales site and admin the product links and all of the administration links go to a pop up window asking viewer to open with Notepad. What's happening here? Please help Kind regards JoAnn
MrPhil Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 If the links are to xxxxx.php, it's possible that your server has become misconfigured and doesn't know what to do with PHP files. You'll need to talk to your hosting service to have them check whether something's gone wrong with the server or with your .htaccess file such that it doesn't realize that PHP files need to be parsed on the server. Is your browser asking you if you want to download (save) the file or open it with a tool such as Notepad?

MrPhil Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Then you will need to talk with your host's technical support. It sounds like the server is not recognizing PHP files for some reason -- that they need to be fed to the PHP processor, not offered for download.
