I have come across a very strange problem, I hope can be an easy fix :) I changed in admin the search results to limit to 6 per page, which worked perfect but when I browse my inventory and I click 'page 2' I get the bottom two from 'page 1' along a few other results?!? I have made several modifications to my site, here is my installed contribution list;

 

STSv4.5.8_1_2_1

Multiple_Images_AutoThumbs_1.1

price_match_1_2

Printer Friendly Product Info Page 2.1_3

Wishlist 5

tell_a_friend_code

OSC XML FEED - Version 2

dynamic_sitemap_v3.5.10

 

I have also modified index.php to suite my own needs, including adding new fields and modifying the way the search results are sorted. I am not sure why page one works great but page two tweeks. I have noticed some products not showing on the the list but when I press ' next page' and then ' previuos page' the products now show correctly????? I would be so appreciative to anyone who would be willing to help, or at least point me in the right directions to where this funtion is written.

Ok, SOLVED! Looks like messing with the sort order in index.php of the search results is not good.

how had u altered sort order, did use this tip?

Yup, it worked great but then I noticed my product results were getting all messed up beyond the first page.. I am not sure if it could have been an issue with some other add-on conflicting.. anyways, quite a bummer since I am in the RV biz and people are mostly looking for length.. oh well .. I guess I will live :)
