ingenue
Hi. I installed oscommerce but apparently since it was a subdir on my main hosting i installed to the wrong place. I got hte forwarding right, but apparently its still showing the main domain due to me installing wrong. The support tech there told me to find the answer here. Will paste what he told me so manybe somebody will know what he's talking about. Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting Support. Your store is showing the URL 'http://mentiedtightly.com/colorstore/' because you installed osCommerce to use this URL. This update will need to be done manually via osCommerce. For further information regarding this we would recommend that you visit the link listed below. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/support
multimixer
If I understand correctly, you installed osc in a subdir, but you want to have it in your main directory? Then you need to do this: 1) Move all files to the directory you want. 2) Cange the files includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php to show the right path. Just make them not to how the subdir as they do now My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
multimixer
As I see, your store is in the root and not in a subdir now. Probably you didn't updated the image path, because images are not showing. The domain/catalog returns a 404 error, because nothing is installed there Where do you want it to be? multimixer
I want it to be only colorfulrope.com as the main catalog folder and for it to stop showing the main top hosting site in its name path Well, this main top hosting looks like an adult site. I don't know exactly where your store is placed, but it looks like a redirect. You redirect your domain to a subcategory of your main domain, to use the same hosting account. The main url is masked (no "tophost" showing), but for all other url's no masking anymore. I think that is not an osc issue, I think your installation is correct My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
