I have a problem, I installed the OSC and everything is working, but yesterday I would like to chceck the orders but they are not appear in the order list. If i type number of the order it appear, but I cannot change it status. I found a fix and installed a new order list but I have the same problem. Anyone can help me? oldschoo Posted June 20, 2009 Share Posted June 20, 2009 What Order contributions do you have installed. I have Order Editor, Manual Order Maker, and New Improved Order List. Adameq Posted June 20, 2009 Author Share Posted June 20, 2009 The name of the fix is HELD ORDERS v2.1 but it doesnt working. Nothing happens with that fix. oldschoo Posted June 20, 2009 Share Posted June 20, 2009 sorry, i do not have that contribution installed. From the looks of the contribution page, this contribution is old. I would uninstall the changes you just made, and see if it works. If its works without those changes, then at least you'll know what isn't working. You can do a file compare to see what the actual differences are between what file works, and the "fix" update that doesn't work. Hopefully you will be able to sort it out. Have you posted your problem in the support forum for that contribution. Most contributions have a separate forum where you can post your problems. I am not exactly sure what this contribution does. I do not need any specials modules for my shop but only this one which will show me the order status. the original doesnt work. I hace a OSC 2.2. oldschoo Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 Adameg I am pretty sure that the stock oscommerce shows the orders in the admin panel without any special contributions. Have you tried to go back to your original orders.php file? Figure out if you changed any other php files that have to do with orders and try to go back to those originals also. If that doesnt work, I'll see if I can help. Cant promise anything, but I will try. Like I said, my admin/orders.php has been changed for order editor and a few other contributions. Basically, what I do is use a file comparasion like winmerge (free) to compare the files and make changes. That way is shows the exact lines of code that are different in both files. I tried to install the same version on a new database but clean, without any graphic elements and it works. I tried to change the file order.php, then I restore everything to default files...still does not work. The best way for me is not to use any contributions but only use the original order status from admin panel. If you can help me, it would be great.
